Retrieves the control current signal
XBB Dongle and XBB Powerunit are a smart and wireless solution for connecting additional lights on cars with canbus control. The XBB Dongle is simply placed in the OBD II connector and the XBB power unit is the relay that receives the signal from the Dongle. With the XBB products, there is no need to connect to the car physically and it can easily be removed when needed.
Connection
The XBB Dongle, which is the control unit, is plugged into the car's OBD port. This means that the control current signal for the main beam is taken directly from the OBD port and the information is then sent wirelessly to the relay (Power Unit) which controls the auxiliary light via this signal.
